Rick Colman

Rick Colman, AIA, LEED® AP is a licensed architect with over 30 years of experience providing comprehensive architectural design and project management services for residential, commercial, institutional, transportation, parking, and educational facilities. He has experience in conventional architectural services as well as the provision of technical support, including forensic failure analysis related to building design and construction. Having also had his own firm in the past, Mr. Colman has broad-based experience in all aspects of architectural/construction project delivery. Some of his past projects have received design awards and/or been published in prestigious publications. A recent seven-year involvement as a Project Manager for the six billion-dollar bond program for the Los Angeles Community College District gives him keen insight into high-level industry standards associated with public works projects. Mr. Colman is intimately familiar with a broad spectrum of building materials and systems, their appropriate application, their proper integration and assembly, and their performance in the real world. His comprehensive and well-rounded background leaves him highly qualified to produce design and construction documents detailing remediation of buildings.
