Douglas Grant

Douglas served an impressive 32 years with the British Fire Service, the last 10 in the rank of Divisional Officer with Strathclyde Fire & Rescue Service which is the UK's second largest Brigade, before joining Jensen Hughes (formerly IFIC Forensics) as a Senior Investigator in May 1998. Douglas has undertaken over 750 fire investigations to include vehicles, domestic, industrial and commercial premises.

Through his career Douglas has utilised his vast experience and skills during Court appearances, where he has given expert testimony based upon his investigations and reports.

Douglas has a keen interest in continuing professional development in order to advance his technical expertise and attends numerous fire investigation courses, both in the UK and the USA. Douglas has previously completed specialist training courses in Fire Investigation and Ship and Port Fires; in addition to participation in numerous Brigade training courses, both as a student and lecturer.

Douglas is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators.
