Jaanalla on kaikkiaan yli 30 vuoden työkokemus rakennusalalta, joista viimeiset 15 vuotta paloturvallisuuden parissa. Jaana on ollut mukana paloteknisten suunnitelmien tekemisessä lukuisissa projekteissa. Tärkeimpinä eduskuntatalon, presidentinlinnaan ja Stockmannin tavaratalon peruskorjaukset, maanalaisesta rakentamisesta Onkalon loppusijoitus- ja kapselointilaitos, Länsimetro ja Sammalvuoren varikko sekä liikekeskuksista viimeisimpinä REDI:n kauppakeskus ja Lyyra Helsingissä.

With over three decades in the construction industry and 15 years of experience in fire safety, Jaana has been involved in the development of fire engineering plans for numerous projects. In Finland, she has participated in renovations for the Parliament house, the Presidential Palace, the famous Stockmann's department store, the underground construction of a nuclear disposal plant, the Metro and Sammalvuori depot. Most recently, she worked on the REDI shopping center and Lyyra office building in Helsinki.
