Iain joined Jensen Hughes in March 2018 and has over 8 years’ experience in fire engineering. Iain graduated top of his Fire Risk Engineering class at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2012 and brings this level of diligence and achievement to his approach with fire engineering projects. Having worked in St Albans, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Glasgow as a fire engineer, Iain has an excellent working knowledge of the fire safety guidance and Building Regulations across the UK.
Iain has experience in managing complex projects, both domestically and internationally, providing day to day liaison with project teams, and developing detailed fire analyses. Iain enjoys developing bespoke and innovative fire engineering solutions that meet the client’s design aspirations, offer flexibility and cost effectiveness to a project. Iain also has practical knowledge on a number of Fire Modelling software’s including Fluid Dynamic Simulator, CFAST, and Firewind. His understanding of fire modelling together with his knowledge of fire safety engineering helps deliver innovative fire safety engineering solutions that best serve project requirements.
